The Battle of Monmouth 2009 was a fine event as usual. Outside of the fact that we had heavy rains both evenings
just in time for our supper, the weather was great.
Friday's supper ( marrinated chicken breasts) were put on the spit as the rains started. We kept the fire going the best we could
(it went out twice) but our will was strong and after about two hours finally got really cooking! One of the only campfires in the American Camp ( at least to cook on).
